The High Court of Justice (General Jurisdiction Court 7) in Accra has issued a search and arrest warrant for Ernest Kwamina Yedu Addison. The warrant was granted following an ex-parte motion filed by Superintendent of Police Sulemana Sulley Jnr., and was presided over by Justice Ali Baba Abature.
According to the court document, the order allows security agencies to search Addison’s residence in the Airport Residential Area, Accra. The warrant also mandates the retrieval and preservation of any items suspected to have been obtained through criminal conduct. Furthermore, the court directed that any individuals found at the premises who may be involved in illegal activities should also be arrested.
The order, signed by the court’s registrar, Nana Ama Dankwa-Smith, underscores the seriousness of the investigation. The legal process leading to this decision involved submissions by Dominic Bakoma Esq., counsel for the applicant.
The case remains under investigation, and security agencies are expected to carry out the court’s directives.
