Voting officially began at 7:00 AM, but in New Juaben South, some voters arrived at polling stations as early as 3:00 AM to secure their place in line. Many of these early voters were elderly individuals determined to exercise their democratic rights without delay.
At the Pentecost Church polling stations “A” and “B” in Two Streams, about 15 voters were already in line when observed. A similar scene was noted at Betom Adontoa polling stations “A” and “B,” where voters continued to arrive steadily. By 5:00 AM, Electoral Commission (EC) officials at these locations had nearly completed their setup.
Among the early voters was a woman, an SDA church member, who chose to remain anonymous. She explained that while her faith discourages participation in elections, she felt compelled to exercise her franchise.
“I won’t grant an interview. I don’t want my face to go out. I’m SDA; you know we are not supposed to take part, but I have to exercise my franchise,” she said.

However, challenges have been reported at the polling stations. Some ballot papers lack serial numbers, while others have serial numbers that do not follow in sequence. This issue has raised concerns but has not disrupted the voting process so far.
