The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference has reiterated support for the anti-LGBTQI+ bill, known as the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values bill, currently pending in parliament.
To them, the bill was in the right direction as it sought to enact laws against criminal homosexual acts.
This was contained in a communique dated Monday, December 11, 2023 issued by the Bishops.
It was signed by the President of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Most Rev. Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi.
