The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah is currently embarking on what he termed as a “Thank you” tour in some of the communities in his constituency to show his appreciation and that of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for their support.
The tour forms part of the MP’s pledge to foster close ties with his people in order to speed up development in the area.
According to the MP, there was the need for him to visit the people to express his gratitude because they wasted their time and energy in a long queue just to ensure that NPP and for that matter, Nana Addo wins convincingly in the constituency.
He has so far visited more than 30 communities including Anansu, Kwamedwaa, Anyinamso No1 and, Mpasatia, Achiase, and he is expected to visit 537 communities.
Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah and his Constituency Executives will visit four communities today, that’s Adumasa, Botomroso, Aniamoah, Achiase Adupri and Adobewura.
Addressing the residents in different areas, he expressed gratitude to the electorate for the confidence they had reposed in him and called for continual support to enable him to accomplish his development agenda for the Constituency.
The former Youth and Sports Minister used the opportunity to inspect ongoing 116 km roads construction, a rural electrification project which would serve about 130 communities in the Atwima Mponua Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
Meanwhile, the chiefs and the people were grateful to the MP for such a visit to thank them for their effort to retain him as their MP due to his unflinching support to the commuters.
The member of parliament was accompanied by the Constituency Chairman Mr Isaac Kofi Marfo, Second Vice-Chairman Opanin Frimpong, Collins Addai Constituency Secretary, Bismark Oboubi, Constituency Organiser, Joyce Ellen Amoah, Constituency Women Organiser.
