Bibiani Goldstars striker Abednego Tetteh says he almost quit football during his spell with Hearts of Oak.
Tetteh joined the Phobians in 2020, but left after just a season following struggles to break into the starting team.
The forward also endured a torrid stint with King Faisal, scoring just two goals in the first half of the league.
After joining Goldstars in the second round, Tetteh has found his form, scoring 14 goals and is currently leading the Ghana Premier League goal king race with 16 goals.
“I almost quit football because of what I went through during my time with Accra Hearts of Oak,” he told Original FM.
He continued, “It would be very challenging for me to consider returning to Accra Hearts of Oak.”
