Ghanaian Afrobeats singer and rapper Frimpong Ofori Precious known in showbiz circles as Joey Papking has said that he doesn’t believe in controversies but rather believes in hard work because that is the first stepping stone to success.
Speaking one-on-one with Kumi Kasa on Aben Fm Entertainment show, Joey Papking unequivocally expressed that engaging in controversies to become popular doesn’t keep musicians appropriate or relevant but then has an adverse effect on their careers.
He explained that those relying on controversies don’t have stable names because their names wipe out from the system if there are no trending issues about them therefore he will put in all the efforts to hit the heights once and for all.
According to Paps, the main objective of every artist is to serve their fans with quality music to make their fans accept them. He stated that he followed some top musicians like Sarkodie, Obour, Obrafour, and other top-notch Ghanaian rappers for the reason that they made a name for themselves and their performances have soared higher all over the world.
However, he will work hard to make a name for himself rather than to create a sort of dirty act to attain names because it is his ambition to be amongst the best artists to push music globally.
“I’m into full-time music as my career thus I will release hit songs that will get me remembered by many for centuries to come,” he added.
