The former police commissioner, COP George Alex Mensah, has make a shock revelations as he seeks to replace RT. Hon. Joe Wise in Bekwai Constituency of Ashanti Region.
According to COP George Alex Mensah, who recently retired from the Ghana Police Service, he was born in UP’s family and he has no place to go, “my blood , DNA , my everything is NPP and it’s not vanishing today or tomorrow”.
“I have long-held an ambition to enter parliament and believes that the time has come to pursue this goal in the ticket of NPP in Bekwai constituency”.
He revealed this In an interview with Dess Fm Morning Show host Akwasi Awuah.
“Although I’m in this position not for the Bekwai constituency specifically but for all of Ghana, I have the expertise, abilities, and vision to assist my constituents in terms of development such as , youth empowerment, easing the burden of market men and women , assisting drivers and all , although I have retired but very strong and I am still motivated to work for both Ghana and Bekwai” he said.
He pleaded with all Ghanaians, party officials, and delegates to maintain calm and unity as the NPP looks to break the eight in the 2024 general election.
