Hollywood actor Idrissa Akuna Elba, better known as Idris Elba, has admitted that he cried while viewing his own film ‘Beast of no Nation’.
The 50-year-old director is said to be extremely proud of the young Ghanaian actor, Abraham Attah, who appeared in the film ‘Beast of no Nation’ and has since gone onto greater heights.
“I shed tears for that movie because that movie is sad, and Abraham Attah is incredible. Abraham Attah has now moved onto bigger and better things, and I’m so proud of him,” he said.
Idris Elba stated on Kumasi’s Opemsuo FM, that the movie about Ghana had made him aware that there are undiscovered talents in Africa.
“That movie made me think that there are a lot more talents whether in Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, or Sierra Leone, and that there are unearthed talents that people need to see on the screens,” he disclosed.
