Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong has stated emphatically that he deserves to be the clubs best player of the decade for his immense contribution to the club
Amos, who currently plies his trade for Al Kaloum in Guinea justifying why he should be adjudged as Kotoko’s best player for the past ten years said, “There are a lot of games I won for Asante Kotoko; in the semifinals of the NC special competition, I scored the winning penalty against Hearts of Oak”
In the MTN FA cup finals in Tamale back in 2017, as captain, together with my teammates I won that cup for Asante Kotoko. In the president cup in 2016 and 2017, my last penalty goal won it for us” he told Kumasi FM.
According to him, he feels elated to help the porcupine warriors win the aforementioned trophies before his departure from the club in 2019.
