Mzvee has stated that her journey crossed with music by chance because it was not planned at all.
According to the former Lynx Entertainment star, her friend inspired and pushed her into music, and the rest is history.
She made this revelation during an interview on Hitz FM.
“I didn’t want to become a musician. Honestly, I didn’t know what I wanted to become at all.
So I was going to school still trying to figure myself out when I got introduced to music by a friend.
I got a call from my friend after secondary school saying she wanted to form a group, even though I knew my parents will not agree, I accepted the offer and that was where it all began,” she disclosed.
Mzvee recently stated her dissatisfaction with the constant sexual harassment that women from all areas of life face just to get to the top.
In a recent interview with Hitz FM, the former Lynx Entertainment First Lady stated that when both genders are looking for work and have the same qualifications, the lady is requested to open her legs first before being offered the job, whilst the gentleman is given a plain ‘yes, or no’ answer.
“If a guy goes to ask for help somewhere, he might get a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’. But for a female, she would have to give something in return for the favour”, she said.
