Dr. Osei Yaw Adutwum, a presidential aspirant for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has assured Ghanaians that he will continue to prioritize STEM education if elected president in 2028.
Speaking at a campaign in the Ashanti Region, he emphasized his commitment to making STEM education a unique and quality aspect of Ghana’s education system.
“We have begun the STEM education program, but it remains unfinished. When we return to power in 2028, we will complete it and take it to the next level,” he said.
Dr. Adutwum believes that quality education is the foundation of a developed country, and this drives his ambition to become president.
He expressed concern that the current NDC government may not equip the newly built STEM schools, stating, “I don’t think the NDC government will put equipment in the built STEM schools.
“Any developed country is based on their quality education. Looking at how we have built more of the STEM buildings, what is left is the equipment.”
