The Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), Kofi Akpaloo, has said that he doesn’t work for any political party but rather he represents his party and projects the ideologies of LPG.
According to him, some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) were proclaiming that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is supporting LPG.
Speaking in an interview with an Accra –based radio station, Kofi Akpaloo refuted claims that he is being sponsored by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He explained that NPP under Akufo-Addo administration has fulfilled most of the promises made in 2016 like the 1D1F and Free SHS.
Kofi Akpaloo debunked allegations by some members of the NDC adding that he sometimes hyped the ruling government due to their good policies.
The LPG leader continued that is not a crime to commend something good about the government’s policies.
But Yamoah Ponkoh alleged that the LPG leader was being financed by the ruling party during an interview with Akoma FM.
“Stop confusing the public and go ahead and openly campaign for Akufo-Addo because we all know that you are working for NPP,” Yamoah Ponkoh accused Kofi Akpaloo.
