The 34-year-old featured for the Porcupine Warriors before departing to join rivals Hearts of Oak.
Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Afum, who is currently without a club expressed he enjoyed playing for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak during his spell.
“I enjoyed playing for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak. I was satisfied with the treatment meted out by Kotoko and Hearts. I had good spell with both teams, so I was happy” he said.
Afum is currently unattached and is yet to confirm his retirement from football.
It is unknown whether he will return to active football or calls it a quit.
