Black Stars defender Tariq Lamptey sys he enjoyed playing his first game in Ghana against Central Africa Republic.
The Brighton defender switched allegiance to represent Ghana over England back in 2022 but he had to wait for two-years before playing on home soil.
Lamptey made substitute appearance in his first game in Ghana as the Black Stars inflicted a 4-3 win over the Wild Beast.
However, Lamptey has taken to social media to express his joy after playing his first home game for the national team.
“Great camp with the squad. Two big wins and my first time playing in Ghana. Really enjoyed the experience! Thank you for the amazing support. Now time to rest and recover,” he wrote on Instagram.
It is important to note Lamptey played in both games as Ghana secure back to back wins over Mali and Central Africa Republic.
