Former Bechem United striker Hafiz Konkoni says he has an unfinished business in the Ghana Premier League and has therefore promised to return to accomplish his aim.
Konkoni joined Tanzanian giants, Young Africans at the conclusion of last season from Bechem United, following an outstanding performance in the Ghana Premier League that earned him a call-up to the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars.
Since making the switch from the Hunters during the recent transfer window, Konkoni has already notched two goals for the Tanzanian club.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, the enterprising forward made it known that he has unfinished business in the Ghanaian top-flight and has vowed to return to accomplish it.
“It will be difficult for me to return to Ghana at the moment but I have an unfinished business in the Ghana Premier League, which I would love to accomplish one day”
“My dream is to play for one of the biggest clubs in Ghana (Kotoko and Hearts of Oak) and I want to fulfil that dream. I’m still praying about it, if I get the opportunity to return to Ghana, I will play one of those teams. Isha Allah, I will return to the Ghana Premier League again to accomplish my aim” he said.
Hafiz Konkoni was a top transfer target for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the last transfer window but the Tanzanian giants outbid them to secure his signature.
