Black Stars and New York City midfield gem, Ebenezer Ofori has said he has no issue with the Black Stars gaffer, James Kwesi Appiah despite been overlooked in recent times.
Report in the media suggested that he (Ofori) is in loggerheads with the Black Stars trainers for constantly snubbing him to represent the country.
But Ofori in an interview with Don Summer of Angel FM downplayed that assertions and has rather acknowledged the head coach for the role played in his career.
Asked if James Kwesi Appiah has helped him in his career, he said, “Yes he has helped me in so many ways. When he was appointed as the head coach of the team, he handed me a call-up. After playing for the Black Stars, I was warmly welcomed by my club, Stuttgart, in fact, the respect was massive” he emphasized.
“I love playing for the national team because it adds value to me. It a plus whenever I get the invitation because there are a lot of talents in the country. Playing for the Black stars gives me another platform” he added.
Ofori has capped seven times for the Black Stars, scoring once in the process.
