Former Ghana international Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has ruled out playing for a Ghana Premier League club before he hangs up his boots.
Currently unattached, the 30-year-old is on the lookout for a new club after parting ways with Hellas Verona last year.
Not long ago, he announced his retirement from international football with Ghana, another indication that his career is nearing its end.
Despite revealing he has an unfinished business with giants, Asante Kotoko, the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup winner has insisted that he will not retire in the country.
According to him, he will work within the club not as a player but as a scout or any other thing.
“If I stop playing football today I don’t think I will come to Ghana to play. If I stop, I stop but there is a lot of work in the club which I can do, scouting of players and others. But I want to be emphatic, at the twilight of my career I don’t think I will come back to Ghana to continue” he told Footballmadeinghana.com.
