Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko striker Edward Afum has revealed he has not retired from football despite being out of play for a while.
Afum, who has been without a club for sometime in an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM reiterated his desire to return to action.
“I have not retired from football. I’m waiting for the right offer to return to action. There are a lot of clubs who wants my services” he said.
The 34-year-old attacker had stints with the Porcupine Warriors in 2012 before departing to join Hearts of Oak the following season.
In January 2019, the former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko player penned a two-year deal with the Wonder Club and featured in the Normalization Committee’s Special Competition.
The former Great Olympics striker won one Premier League title with Asante Kotoko.
