Sensational gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah, has said that listening to songs of popular reggae artiste Bob Marley, inspirit her to write good gospel songs.
According to her, Bob Marley has been a great motivator to her in her music journey as she listens to his songs that are always rich in lyrics.
“Sensible songs are refreshing and devoid of foul language and controversies therefore, I listen to reggae music and especially Bob Marley to pick lyrics that shape the gospel songs I write.
“Gospel music is about speaking about God and I believe most reggae songs speak about God and talk about good things,” she stated.
In furtherance, Diana Asamoah went on and added that she tries her best to bring out lifetime songs that will motivate and inspire people in their everyday life and also stand the test of time.
“I do lifetime songs like Bob Marley [does]; that is why most of my music is Pentecostal hymns because they will not wither in changing seasons,” she affirmed.
