President Akufo-Addo’s darling boy who doubles as Savannah Regional Minister, Saeed Muhazu Jibril has turned a hawking single mother on the streets of Accra into fire officer under Ghana Fire Service.
Taking to his Facebook page, the minister narrated that he met the young girl in Tema, in the Greater Accra Region with a baby strapped to her back selling chewing gum on the streets.
And when he enquired to know if had formal education, it turned out that the now fire officer who was then a hawker completed SHS with excellent results.
“I met this lady on the streets of Tema carrying her baby on her back selling chewing gum . I asked if she had any formal education she said yes. Her SHS results was excellent”, Mr. Saeed Muhazu wrote.
“Today she has made me very proud though not family member but it is our duty to help those who will not have dreamt of realizing their dreams”, he added.
Though he could not disclose the lady’s full details, but she sent him a message thanking him for the life-changing opportunity.
She wrote to me, “DADDY THANK YOU SO MUCH. I THOUGHT MY WORLD HAD ENDED. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.”
