Ghanaian actor Prince David Osei has made hints about his desire to run for president in the future.
The actor expressed his resolve to run for president in a tweet on a Monday, even though it seemed that his fellow performers would not back him.
He made a lighthearted comment about how hard he struggled to resist the “calling” to become president.
He stated, “Chief Daddy, No matter how hard I try to avoid the calling, everything shows I have to be the president someday that’s why my friends in the game don’t want to support me… But what is written is written…”
This is the first time Prince David has discussed his possible presidential aspirations in public.
The actor has been actively interested in politics even if his efforts to the entertainment sector are what have made him most famous. Notably, he aggressively supported political leader Akufo-Addo by campaigning for him throughout the 2020 presidential contest.
