Former technical director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Oti Akenteng says he will be happy to join Asante Kotoko as their technical director ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
An earlier report in the local media suggested that the former technical director of the Ghana Football Association is set to join the Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko ahead of their upcoming African campaign.
The reports further indicate that the newly appointed CEO, Nana Yaw Amponsah, wants to appoint Oti Akenteng as part of his efforts to make changes at the club as he sees the former Hearts of Oak coach as a very experienced man who has proven to be a huge asset to the club as they seek to improve and develop their playing style ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign.
“I will be happy to join Kotoko. I’m now home after my contract with the Ghana FA ended so I’m ready to help them with my experience gained in football” he noted.
Oti Akenteng’s contract with the GFA ended earlier this year and has been out of work since then.
