Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the biological father of the late Ghanaian dancehall/Afrobeats artist, Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng known in showbiz as Ebony Reigns has said he will celebrate two years anniversary for the remembrance of his daughter’s death.
Debunking rumours of him holding a memorial day for the 90’s bad girl, Nana Kwarteng (Star Boy) said it is not a memorial day, therefore Ghanaians should stop provoking him by telling him unnecessary things.
During a telephone interview with Abena Pokua Ahwenee on Dadi FM’s ‘Efa wo ho’ morning show, Nana Opoku averred that Ebony was such an amazing child since her childhood which earned her the name Ohemaa.
As a way of expressing the love the Father has for his daughter, he has decided to have a memorial celebration for his daughter on every 16th day of February.
“From my own resources, I have invited 300 people including my loved once to come and have some refreshment on 16th day of February 2020.
Grieving over the death of Ebony Reigns, Nana Kwarteng recalled how her daughter died instantly during an accident involving her car colliding with a VIP bus on Thursday 8th February 2018 whilst returning from Sunyani to Accra after a visit to her mother.
