Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) Akua Donkor, has declared her intention to run for president in 2024.
The female politician was confident she would prevail in the polls and become the nation’s president in 2025.
According to Madam Akua Donkor, running a free port, supporting media outlets, and providing free secondary education are among her topmost priorities if elected into power as president.
She also revealed that Adakabre Frimpong Manso, a seasoned journalist with Despite media will serve as her running mate.
Madam Akua Donkor, then candidate for president in 2020, chose the journalist to be her running mate.
She has chosen to keep him because she regards him as a man of integrity who is credible, trustworthy, and incorruptible.
In an interview with Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, Madam Donkor claimed that Adakabre was one of those who supported her when she initially ran for District Assembly elections.
She added that the journalist has been a pillar of support for her political career and that such a person is uncommon.
