Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong has promised Ghanaians to investigate the killing of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale and Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North JB Danquah if he wins to become the President.
He says he has been accused of having a hand in the murder cases hence he needs to exonerate himself.
Speaking on the Good Evening Ghana show on Tuesday, January 31, the flagbearer hopeful of the New Patitoc Party (NPP) said as President he will show interest in the two cases.
That will force the Police to act to find the culprits, he stated.
Meanwhile, the demise of Ahmed Suale has partly been attributed to revelations the presidential hopeful made about the deceased on live TV by showing the deceased identity and later allegedly calling on people to attack him when seen close to any of his properties.
The deceased was later murdered few days after the revelation by the lawmaker.
