The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, has vowed to make no compromises in improving the standard of living for every Ghanaian, should he win the president in the general elections of 2024.
His all-encompassing plan calls for focused advancements in the nation’s overall economic development, job creation, healthcare accessibility, and educational attainment.
Mahama’s unwavering dedication entails addressing urgent problems and passing laws intended to provide the Ghanaian people with noticeable and beneficial improvements.
He has pledged to put in endless effort in the meantime to enhance Ghanaians’ quality of life.
“First, as President, I will work 24/7 for you. This is not just a promise but a commitment I take to heart. Your aspirations, needs, and concerns you shared during my interactions will guide my actions, and I will be there for you, always”.
In a Facebook post, he also promised to be honest, especially in difficult situations.
“Secondly, I will always tell you the truth. Transparency will be my guiding principle in good times and challenging times. When things go well, I will celebrate with you. And when we face difficulties, I will be honest about the situation,” he wrote.

I combed through four constituencies—Ablekuma North, Ablekuma Central, Ablekuma West and Ablekuma South—on Friday, and the determination of the people to campaign with the NDC for change on December 7 is reassuring.
I made two solemn pledges to the people:
First, as President, I will work 24/7 for you. This is not just a promise but a commitment I take to heart. Your aspirations, needs, and concerns you shared during my interactions will guide my actions, and I will be there for you, always.
Secondly, I will always tell you the truth. Transparency will be my guiding principle in good times and challenging times. When things go well, I will celebrate with you. And when we face difficulties, I will be honest about the situation.
With the increasing unemployment challenge and rising prices of food and other essential commodities, I assure my fellow Ghanaians that I will implement the 24-hour economy policy as promised. This initiative is crucial to creating jobs, boosting growth, and tackling the rising prices of food, fuel, and other commodities that impact our daily lives.
We will Reset our damaged economy and ensure that it works for all of us, not just a privileged few, as is the case with Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
Together, we will build the Ghana we want.
