Trainees for the Nation Builders Corps (NABCo) submitted a petition to the Finance Ministry regarding their unpaid arrears for the previous nine months.
The Ministry made it clear that complaints should be sent to the agency of the President since that agency oversees the program.
The Finance Ministry instructed the trainees to provide any more supporting documents for their claims of payment in a response dated July 11.
The Ministry announced that the pending payments will be paid after these documents are examined and verified.
It underlined the actions that must be taken in order to remedy payment delays and stressed the need of using the appropriate channels when handling financial difficulties pertaining to the NABCo program.
