Reverend Father James Buah-Nkwantabisa, the Catholic priest in charge of the Saint Mary Parish in Asamankese of the Diocese of Koforidua, has said ignorance is causing blindness in Christianity and the African continent.
According to him, factual, object and Technical ignorance are the most common ones killing followers of the Lord and Countries in the World and have become one factor that brings barriers in life and development.
Speaking at Asamankese Catholic Church on Sunday, October 24, 2021, Reverend Father James Buah-Nkwantabisa stressed on the need for Countries and followers of the lord to be conscious and work on anything they are taught and cherish what they have.
The catholic priest expressed worry over some Christians who are following some people who call themselves men of God and are giving fake direction, counselling and teachings to desperate Christians.
He said nowadays, some Christians are focusing their attention on some messengers of God than the God himself, adding, “ because of ignorance, people don’t visit their homes because they are afraid of witches and wizards, you can run but you cannot hide because the evil is everywhere. Some people use water being used by a man of God to cook, as drinking water and others even allowed themselves to be bath by pastors and buy different types of oil for self-protection due to ignorance”.
Father James Buah-Nkwantabisa said Ghana and Africa are the richest in the continent but it is not moving forward due to ignorance, selfishness and greed, and said it is time to stop depending on the other countries for help and be self-reliance.
