IK Start midfielder, Isaac Twum says he is working hard to return to the national team after making his debut in 2017.
Twum made his Black Stars debut in a friendly game against Saudi Arabia under coach Kwasi Appiah.
Despite revealing his intention to play for the Black Stars again, he says he outfits survival in the Norwegian league remains paramount to him.
“CK Akonnor is the coach and as a player, what I have to do to get a call-up is to perform and as at now I’m doing that but I can’t be so keen for call up because of the position of my club,” he told Bryt FM.
“I’m not thinking about call up because I’m not happy with the position of my club on the league table. We are fighting to get ourselves out of relegation and so if I think about Black Stars then it means I have ignored the most important thing. But if I will continue to work hard and as soon my team escapes relegations I will be ready for Black Stars .”
