The Founder and President of the Worldwide Miracle Outreach Dr. Lawrence Tetteh has said he will deliver a powerful prophecy to Ghana on December 31st night despite a warning by the Ghana Police Service.
The renowned International Evangelist, a teacher of the Gospel, and the author however said the prophecy will be within the law and not create fear and panic.
The Ghana Police Service stated on December 27, 2021, urging religious groups and leaders to be measured in the communication of prophecies that could spark panic and controversy.
With the public interest in mind, the police stated that religious freedom is still subject to Ghana’s laws ahead of December 31 watch night services, which are known for delivering prophecies by men of God.
“Over the years, communication of prophecies of harm, danger, and death, by some religious leaders, have created tension and panic in the Ghanaian society and put the lives of many people in fear and danger,” police said in a statement.
Speaking on GTV Breakfast Show on Wednesday, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said he agrees with the caution by the Ghana Police Service since 31st-night doom prophesies were becoming a serious concern.
He urged all prophets to operate within the remit of the law.
