Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) director of elections, has declared he will run for party general secretary if nominations are allowed.
On Friday, June 24, he revealed this in an interview with Roland Walker of TV3.
He declared, “I will be submitting for the General Secretary job when nominations are available in November.”
He also stated that he can work with everyone and that he has a clear grasp of what the NDC should do.
If he prevails, he will succeed Johnson Asiedu, who is now the party’s general secretary but is most likely going to run for national chair.
