The Western Regional Police Command has arrested four persons for attacking officers.
The suspects believed to be illegal miners attacked officers from the Axim divisional police patrol team and seized the magazine of the service together with some mobile phones belonging to the police officers.
Meanwhile, allegations against the police officers has been referred to the police Professional and standards Bereau for investigation, according to the police statement.
