Head coach of Accra Great Olympics, Annor Walker has disclosed his readiness to handle any national team job should he be given the nod.
Walker, who is considered as one of the experienced coaches in the country has been consistently overlooked by the Ghana Football Association to be given the chance to head one of the national teams.
However, after a brilliant start to the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign with Great Olympics he has revealed readiness to head a national team when given the opportunity.
“Seriously, I feel that when I’m given any of the national teams I can prove my worth” he said.
Asked if he is worried about his inability to lead a national team, he said, “When you are military man and you are not promoted it is painful. If you are a soldier and you always referred as corporal without any improvement in your rank, it is so painful”
“I always feel some pains but it is within me, I don’t have anything to say until they will see the work that I am doing and give me the chance” he concluded.
