Mayor of the New Juaben South Metropolitan Assembly, Ransford Boakye is poised to fix deplorable roads in his municipality.
Reflecting on the state of roads in the municipality, Mr Boakye, who recently assumed office expressed his displeasure while promising to ensure roads are constructed to make life easier for residents.
“I’m working to fix deplorable roads in Koforidua particularly, Zongo. Poor roads affect productivity so I will do everything possible to resolve this challenge as soon as possible” he told Koforidua-based Bryt FM.
“I have notice several poor roads aside Zongo. We will attend to all and make it better to make easier for the people” he said.
Tackling on other challenges, the Mayor reiterated desire to provide adequate street lights to curb darkness in his municipality.
