Ghanaians have been assured of improved standards of living after the National Democratic Congress takes back power in 2025 as the newly elected government.
They have, however, been urged to kick out the ruling New Patriotic Party for its abysmal performance despite the many promises prior to the 2016 and 2020 general elections.
In an exclusive interview with Kwabena Nyarko Abronoma, the aspiring Akuapem North Youth Organiser for the NDC Comrade Ahmeda Agbenyadzi expressed worry at the new tariff increments, which is expected to take off on September 1, 2022.
He retreated the current economic hardship has already brought a lot of difficulty to most citizens as a lot of taxes have been introduced by government, where everybody in one way or the other contribute to the development of the country.
“As a matter of fact, Ghanaians are suffering but it seems their cries have become noise to the current government because they are living luxurious lives out of our little taxes we pay. How can a party that promised to improve standards of living for the ordinary Ghanaian few years ago turn around to kill them with insensitive policies?”.
“The President who was known to be a great anti corruption campaigner has now turned into a different person as his zeal to fight the canker is not encouraging” Comrade Ahmed Agbenyadzi lamented.
