In form Medeama SC striker Prince Opoku Agyemang is not worried by Black Stars snub despite his fine form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.
Agyemang has ranked up 9 goals for his side after 12 games in the GPL, yet he was ignored by the technical handlers of the national team.
The Black Stars trainer, Akonnor, announcing his squad for the Sudan duel handed a call up to four local players which included Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Habib Mohammed (Kotoko), Kwadwo Amoako (Ashantigold), Yahaya Mohammed (Aduana Stars).
But the goal poacher in an interview says he is not worried as he was overlooked by the Black Stars coach.
“Yahaya Mohammed is the leading goal scorer in the league now, so if the coaches have chosen him over me, I don’t think it is a big deal. I’m not shocked by Yahaya’s inclusion. All that I have to do is to work hard and go top on the top scorer’s chat” he said.
