The aspiring Parliamentary Candidate for New Juaben North Constituency, Mr. Samson Owusu Annor has said the battle against the deadly coronavirus pandemic in the country must go beyond political partisanship.
According to him, it is prudent for all and sundry of their political affiliations to bring onboard their expertise to help the government find solution and to stop the viral spread of the virus.
Mr. Annor indicated that the virus is no respecter of any political party therefore partisanship should be put on hold and come together to fight the pandemic.
He also commended the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the Ministry of Health as well as the Ghana Health Service for their relented effort and the preventive measures put in place to stop the fast spread of the virus to other parts of the country.
He believed that the measures put in place are enough to cease the spread of the virus and was also confident in the health official that none of the infected persons will die but will fully recover.
Touching on his ambitions of becoming the next New Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for New Juaben North Constituency ahead of the 2020 general election, the IT specialist said the time is now for a new person to takeover to seat for the NPP and spearhead development for the people of the constituency.
He outlined that, agriculture will be one of his areas of priority and will ensure that farmers within the constituency are given the requisite support to groups their crops in large quality.
