Captain of Liberty Professionals, George Ansong William has admitted their premiership opener against Bechem United was very difficult.
The Scientific Soccer Lads played out a 1-1 draw with Bechem United at the Carl Reindorf Park in Dansoman on Monday.
George William Ansong opened the scoring for the home side in the first half while Stephen Owusu grabbed the equalizer for the Hunters in the second half.
Speaking after the game, he expressed satisfaction with his sides draw, admitting it was keenly contested match.
“It wasn’t an easy game right from the start, but I will say it was a very tough game for both teams. We all fought hard to the last whistle, It was a tough game and very entertaining.”
“I’m never disappointed because in football, its either you win, lose or draw. I would say we’ve done well because is not easy” he said.
