Board Chairman of Medeama SC, Dr Tony Aubynn believes it is time for his outfit to annex their first Ghana Premier League title, having being denied on numerous occasions by nature.
The Yellow and Mauves are a point away from clinching the domestic top-flight ahead of their final round game against Tamale City.
Speaking to Graphic Sports, Tony Aubynn asserted his outfit should have won the title had it not been natural disaster.
“Then before COVID-19, we were also in the lead when government postponed the league and we think we have not been fairly treated by nature so it’s our time to win,”
“We are confident of winning the league, we think that we have been hard done by nature you remember that during the normalization period, we were in a comfortable lead and then the league was truncated,” he added.
The Ghana Premier League title will come to an end this weekend with an intriguing fixtures.
