Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Jackson Owusu has hinted that he will not rule out a return to the club.
Owusu, a member of the Black Stars B team that finished second in the 2014 CHAN tournament in South Africa at the expiration of his contract with Kotoko departed the country for greener pastures in 2018.
The 32-year-old is currently in Ghana after ending his stint with Kenyan outfit Gor Mahia and has therefore reiterated his desire to return to the domestic top-flight league.
In December last year, it emerged the Ghanaian player has had issues with Gor Mahia over unpaid monies.
Speaking to Kumasi based Opemsour FM, he revealed that several Ghana Premier League clubs have asked about his availability since he returned to the country from Kenya.
Asked if he will love a return to Asante Kotoko, “I am a footballer and that is my work. I am opened to working with any team including Kotoko. If Kotoko assess me and they think I can help them why not, I am willing to play”
“A lot of clubs here have asked about me. But at the moment I am a free agent” he said.
