Kwame Baffoe well known to people as Abronye DC the Bono Regional Chairman and a communicator of the New Patriotic Party has disclosed that the late Jerry John Rawlings who just went home for rest left behind a policy named one-region-one child.
To him, once some children of the late Rawlings popped out from different regions indicating that there are some in other regions whose names couldn’t be mentioned.
Speaking on Accra based television, Abronye DC advises women who receive bribes and houses to cover up secrets after bearing a child for political leaders to evade such conduct.
He lectured mothers to let their children know their fathers when they are alive than to wait till their death.
Abronye DC, however, urged the Widow Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings to adopt all the one-region-one child of her late husband and take care of.
He added that he will soon introduce a one-district-one child policy in addition to the one-region-one child.
Ghana’s first President under the fourth Republic died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness.
Jerry John Rawlings was buried at the Military Cemetery in Accra after three days of funeral rites were held in his memory.
