The Member of Parliament (MP) for Jirapa constituency in the Upper West Region, Hon. Cletus Seidu Dapilah has constructed 17 mechanized boreholes for his constituents to help improve water accessibility in the area.
According to the MP, the residents over the years have to queue for long hours to get water from the only existing borehole.
Speaking at the handing over ceremony at Nyenvaare, Mr. Cletus Seidu Dapilah he assured the residents of his continues commitment and support to work in their interests and make massive improvement in their lives.
He mentioned that additional boreholes will be drilled in the coming days for the residents.
He revealed that he drilled the aforementioned 17 boreholes from his portion of the District Assembly Common Fund.
The residents commended the MP for furnishing them with the portable drinking water.
The entire Nyenvaare community, other communities who benefited from the water project expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the MP.
The beneficiaries stated that the provision of the mechanized boreholes would facilitate access to clean and safe drinking water and significantly impact on the communities.
They noted that his leadership and support for the constituency will not go unnoticed.
