Ampem Darkoa Ladies tactician Joe Nana Adarkwa is in the running for the 2023 CAF Women’s Coach of the Year award.
This recognition came after guiding Ampem Darkoa Ladies to a successful 2022/23 football season, where the team won all trophies domestically.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies won Women’s Premier League title and the FA Cup under the tutelage of the experienced trainer.
He also led the team to clinch the WAFU B Champions League title to secure qualification to the main tournament in Ivory Coast.
Ampem Darkoa have already secured qualification to the semifinals of the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League competition under Joe Nana Adarkwa.
The Ghanaian tactician will have to beat competition from other top coaches including Lovemore Fazili, Reynald Pedros, Randy Waldrums, Mohammed Amine Alioua, Desiree Ellis and others.
The awards ceremony will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023, in the city of Marrakesh, Morocco
