The Western North Regional Youth Organiser for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Gabriel Doh, has hinted there is an undeniable fact that NDC only appreciates and touts the Volta region as it’s World Bank for electoral votes and not for development.
Speaking in an interview with the media, Mr. Gabriel Doh reiterates that political history and loyalty have been established as the Volta Zone( Volta & Oti) remain the reason why the NDC exists.
“This loyalty is born out of love for their own who is the founder of the party, JJ Rawlings. The NDC under the regime of John Dramani Mahama has employed all mechanisms to oust the Volta block from NDC’s national leadership”.
‘This hate for Norvi Korku Anyidoho cannot go unmentioned” he stated.
He, fathoms that it could be recalled that a group of youth activists from the Volta region by name, Volta Youth for Development made the same demand to impress John Dramani Mahama to appoint Hon. Doh Adjaho, former speaker of parliament as his running mate for the 2020 general elections.
But for the dislike of Ewes and hate for former President JJ Rawlings called their bluff to appoint Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang.
He, stressed, it can therefore be established that the NDC and John Dramani Mahama, if truely value Ewes, then it is because of their votes.
