Former President John Dramani Mahama has congratulated his first son Shafik on his recent marriage to his Algerian girlfriend Asma.
Their lovely wedding took place on Thursday, July 16, 2020, in Dubai, their wedding ceremony photos were shared on ghbase.com earlier.
The wedding was held under strict observance of the covid19 safety protocols, which had just a few family and friends present.
Mr. Dramani couldn’t attend his son’s marriage ceremony due to the closure of borders in the country and the coronavirus pandemic.
The former President took to social media to share photos of the wedding, which had his son in a suit and the wife in a white wedding gown holding a bouquet.
Sharing the pictures on his official page on Instagram, he congratulated his son and their union.
“Congrats Shafik and Asma God richly bless your union” he stated.
Mahama’s picture got many other followers to congratulate the newly wedded couple.
