Lord 107.1 FM a subsidiary of Joy Daddy Multimedia at Sefwi Bekwai on Saturday, December 18, 2021 picked up 9 awards at the just ended 2020 Western North Media Festival Awards at Bibiani.
Akosua Etornam was adjudged 2020 Radio Personality and Female Journalist of the year. She also won the Female Newscaster of the year award.
Mic Jones won the Best Programs Head of the year and Best Drive Time Host of the year, Kwame Kontor Boateng, was crowned Best Reporter of the Year.
The rest are; Hajia Nimatu Wakilu scooping the coveted award for the Best Mid-Morning Show of the year, Kwaku Fosu Vasco picking the Best Manager of the year and Lord 107.1 FM Best Radio Station of the year.
The annual event, put together by Western North Entertainment House, seeks to recognise outstanding media personalities whose work show exemplary leadership towards building a vision and a future for Ghana’s media platform.
Lord FM serves people of the Western North, Western Region, and parts of the Ashanti region with good and quality radio content.
After receiving the awards, the General Manager of the Lord FM, Mr Kwaku Fosu, popularly known as Vasco stated that Lord FM is the finest in the region, which many people have the station at heart and it is one of the radio stations operating from their edifice.

Lord FM has helped Bekwaiman as their corporate social responsibility in the Bibiani Anhwianso Bekwai and the region as a whole and the owners of Joy Daddy Multimedia need to be praised for establishing the radio in Sefwi Bekwai which has employed many people.
