The President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo -Addo commissioned six (6) new envoys at a ceremony on Wednesday 14th June, 2023, at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The Envoys were the High Commissioner to Australia, H.E. Mr. Samuel Yao Kumah, Ambassador to the Czech Republic, H.E. Doris Adzo Denyo Brese, Ambassador to Liberia, H.E. Mr. Kingsford Amoako, Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Mr. Mohammed Habib, Ambassador to Libya, H.E. Mr. Mark Michael Entsie, and Ambassador to Niger, H.E. Mr. Alex Owiredu Adu.
During the ceremony, H.E. President Akufo-Addo charged the new envoys to work in the interest of Ghana in their countries of accreditation. He urged the envoys to familiarise themselves with the core mandate of the Ghana CARES (Obaatan Pa) Programme and other government policies to help secure Foreign Direct Investment ( FDI) for the development of the country.
The High Commissioner to Australia, H.E. Mr. Samuel Yao Kumah, on behalf of the envoys, expressed appreciation to the President for appointing them as High Commissioner and Ambassadors to promote and preserve the interest of Ghana in their countries of accreditation.
