President of the republic Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has invited president-elect John Dramani Mahama to the Jubilee House on Wednesday after the Electoral Commission declared the former president inner in the December 7 presidential election.
The invitation is to help the two initiate the transition process towards the handing over ceremony expected to take place on January 7, 2025.
In a press release Eugene Arhin, the Director of Communications at the office of the President dated December 9, President Akufo-Addo first congratulated Mr. Mahama for emerging as the winner after winning decisively.
