Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the republic has urged all Ghanaians to remain united as the country look forward to this new chapter in our democratic journey.
He disclosed this when he welcomed President-Elect John Dramani Mahama to Jubilee House.
Their meeting was cordial, reflecting the spirit of unity and respect that binds us as Ghanaians, regardless of political differences.
“”As leaders, our ultimate responsibility is to serve the people of Ghana, and ensure a seamless transition for the benefit of our beloved nation” he stated.
The two also discussed critical national matters and reaffirmed their commitment to working together to preserve the peace, stability and progress that Ghana continues to enjoy.
President Akufo-Addo added “”Let us continue to uphold the values of respect, tolerance and collaboration that define who we are as a people”.
