Kabaka Foundation Ghana has handed over a fully operational Antenatal and Postnatal Care Unit facility to the Ashongman Reproductive and Child Health Unit under the Ga East Municipal Health Directorate of the Greater Accra Region.
This newly established facility will improve access to quality healthcare services for pregnant women, nursing mothers, and newborns within the Ashongman Reproductive & Child Health (RCH) Unit, and surrounding communities.

“With this unit now operational,” a spokesperson from Kabaka Foundation stated, “mothers and their babies can receive timely, safe, and dignified care — a critical foundation for any thriving society.”the Executive Director of Kabaka Foundation, Henry Larbi stated.
This is not the first time Kabaka foundation has funded the construction of such health facility.
In 2023, the foundation constructed and handed over a Ghc7 million cedis worth of multipurpose Neonatal Intensive Care Unit facility to the Eastern Regional Hospital.
The projects directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3 which champions Good Health and Well-being for all.

Additionally, it also reflects Kabaka Foundation’s enduring commitment to enhancing maternal and child health and reducing preventable mortality across Ghana.
